C533/Tr-D Rotor Complete
Tr-groove rotor complete, count window confirmed against your application on the Rieter R923 and R35 semi-automatic platform. Diamond-coated working face. T013 bearing rated to 110,000 rpm with a recommended ceiling of ≤ 105,000 rpm — dimensionally identical to the original, at 40–60% below OEM price.
C533/Tr-D — Complete Specifications
All measurements in millimetres. Every rotor complete assembly is 100% dynamically balanced on our own balancing line before shipment.
Why Tr Groove for Application-Specific Spinning
Tr is an application-specific groove. Because no fixed Ne band is published for it, the count it will run is confirmed against your fibre and target count at order stage. Machine side and count side are confirmed as one selection, which is what keeps the rotor matched to the job.
Tr Groove — Yarn Count Range
No published count window for this groove. Send your target count and fibre type and we confirm the correct rotor pairing before quoting. Groove and cup size are confirmed together when the order is placed.
Tr Groove — Specified, Not Assumed
A fixed count band would be convenient, but it would not be honest here. The Tr rotor is quoted per application: your fibre, your target count and your machine, checked by our engineers against the catalogue data before anything is manufactured. We would rather confirm the pairing than quote from a band the catalogue does not document.
Count Matched to Your Application
No fixed band is published, so the rotor is checked against your fibre, target count and spinning position.
Engineer-Confirmed Selection
Our engineers confirm the groove, cup size and coating pairing before the order is released.
Less Risk in the Change-Over
Confirming the pairing up front avoids the trial-and-error that otherwise costs mill time after installation.
Coating Chosen With the Rotor
The surface coating is confirmed together with the rotor selection, so abrasive fibre and high speeds are planned for.
What D Means: Base and Working Surface
The trailing letters of the model code are two independent codes, not one word: B is the substrate, D is the working surface. The diamond face is the reason this rotor holds its groove profile on long runs. Confirm your fibre mix and speed with us before a bulk order. Every assembly is 100% dynamically balanced before it leaves the balancing line.
B = boronized (boron-steel) substrate. A diamond film is only microns thick, so the steel underneath decides whether it survives: a soft substrate deforms under fibre and grit impact and the film cracks and spalls off. The boronized base is the hardening step that keeps the diamond layer intact. This code does not carry the B step; it is the -BD- variant that pairs the diamond layer with the boronized base.
D = diamond top layer, grown on the prepared substrate as a micron-scale film. It takes the fibre and grit contact directly, which is where the wear resistance, the friction coefficient of 0.05–0.1 and the anti-stick behaviour come from that hold the groove profile over long runs. Diamond coating technology of US origin, applied on JSM’s own treatment line.
